This issue occurs when changing the base alignment of a bitmap image that has
been inserted into a table. The specific set of steps I can use to reproduce the
issue:

1. Start with a blank document.
2. Insert a 3 x 3 table.
3. Place your cursor in the cell at column 1 row 3.
4. Split the table (no heading). You now have two tables, a 3 x 2 and a 3 x 1.
5. Delete column 3 from the first table.
6. Place your cursor on the blank line between the two tables.
7. Press DEL to bring the two tables together.
8. Place your cursor on the first blank line after the table.
9. Highlight an image in Paint Shop Pro and do Edit -> Copy.
10. Back in Writer, do Edit -> Paste.
11. Highlight the image within Writer and do Edit -> Copy.
12. Place your cursor in column 1 row 1 of the second table (or column 1 row 3
of the visible table if you wish to look at it that way).
13. Do Edit -> Paste.
14. Highlight the image and right-click it.
15. Choose Alignment -> Base in Middle.

At this point OOo Writer should hang and the soffice.bin task will hit
approximately 100% CPU usage.

I have used Paint Shop Pro as the source of the pasted image; I do not know
whether pasting from other applications will result in the same issue.

When restarting OOo Writer after the crash, any attempt to recover the document
results in the software freezing.
