Any scientist will tell you that adding custom error bars is absolutely critical for presenting data. Any presentation of data without this "feature" would be immediately rejected from publication and laughed out of a symposium. I can't use OOCALC's chart feature for teaching purposes or for my own research for this reason. It should be implemented immediately.
