------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Aug 23 15:26:04 -0700 2006 ------- 1) Open a text document or a spreadsheet. 2) Write some text or select some cells. 3) Select a background color and/or a font color. 4) Move the cursor to another location. 5) Place the cursor in the previous location. 6) Click the background color and the font color buttons. The character color drop down menu, always says that the automatic option is select. The background color drop down menu always says that there is no background color selected. So there is no way of knowing what color of the menu is selected without opening the character/paragraph properties dialog. And that's a problem when you're dealing with similar colors. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
