------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Aug 27 08:50:54 -0700
2006 -------
1. Create a new Calc document, enter some content in A1.
2. Format -> Page -> Header -> Edit
3. Center Area: enter Date, space, Time, the OK and OK again to apply.
4. File -> Page Preview
5. Zooming in repeatedly, Date and Time overlap and the space between them
   skrinks and grows.
6. Repeat the test setting as "Center Area" the same string, but hardcoded
   (e.g., "27/08/2006 10:10:10").
7. Zoom in now works correcly and the strings are evenly spaced as expected.

So step 5 reveals some odd OOo behavior.
