------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Aug 30 05:40:56 -0700 2006 ------- In the case of import .cvs file, to the imported Fields are automatically assigned data type (number, percent, text...). This assignment is made arbitrary and for some set of data/fields faulty (is made bad data type assignment). I suggest to add to the import dialog page option (check box) for example "Raw import" to prevent any arbitrary data type assignment except your choice from drop down list, default is 'text'. The individual assignment for columns could be do in the 'Finds' preview. In the 'Fields' preview area of import dialog form, the data are displayed properly. In the assigned example file the field "Pikal-ID" is interpreted as 'Date' type incorrectly. The "Pikal-ID" is not date, is string. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
