I can confirm that it also is a problem in Presentation (just tired that), but
it also (at least for me) is appearing as an issue in Writer.

I have written a book (issue 67731 has a snippet) that has this issue. The
Presentation app was not how I found the issue.

I used spadmin to import the fonts (e-Latin, in particular, is the offending
critter for me) in question.

The only issue appears to be 'italics'. Bold is fine, for example.

The effect in question is the same from Presentation to Writer, and does appear
to be some type of loss of coordinate information. Or something like that, since
the effect causes all of the letters to individually be turned upward at
approximately a 30 degree angle from the page line.
