Use the custom animation feature to make them appear one after the other by clicking once for each box. When playing the slideshow it sometimes skips one or two of the text boxes. The missed text boxes do not appear at all. This happens for me on version 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 Not sure about before that as I wasn't using OOo before that.
