------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 8 02:56:06 -0700 2006 ------- When drag 'n' dropping from external applications into OpenOffice.org documents, sometimes more than one data type/flavor is available. Currently, the destination application arbitrarily choose to paste the data type that thinks is the most suitable for the destination document type. For example, when dropping a selection that contains both a 'Plain Text' and a 'Bitmap' data type: - Writer chooses to paste the 'Plain Text' data type, since it's a writing application; - Draw chooses to paste the 'Bitmap' data type, since it's a drawing application. Sometimes, the default data type is not the one the user wants to be pasted, so when the drag contains two or more data types it would be very useful to have a choose dialog to select the desired one to paste. The dialog should be activated when dropping into an OpenOffice.org document while pressing a modifier key: - On Windows, it could be the Control key; - On Mac OS X, it could be the Alt key; - and so on. The choose dialog that pop-ups could even be the current 'Paste Special' one. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
