------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 8 03:38:45 -0700 2006 ------- When doing an installation into a directory other than the default directory many softwares propose a directory name while browsing to the target directory. It would be nice if OOo could do that, too. Example: You regularly install new software on d:\testsoftware. What could then happen would be: - dialog for directory entry appears - user clicks browse button - in file dialog user changes to "d:" -> now the selection should be "d:\OpenOffice.org 2.0" - the user enters the subdirectory "testsoftware" with the mouse -> now the selection should be "d:\testsoftware\OpenOffice.org 2.0" - if the user enters a directory via the keyboard he should of course be able to enter "d:\testsoftware\newOOOversion", if he wants to. The added "OpenOffice.org 2.0" should only be a proposal that lets the user enter the installation folder without using the keyboard if he wants to. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
