------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Sep 8 11:47:43 -0700 2006 ------- I will shortly attach a document that causes an infinite crash/recover loop when opened with OOo 2.0.4-RC1, while it is edited with no problems in OOo 2.0.3. History of the document according to the reporter: 1) Created with older OOo and Word versions. 2) Opened in OOo 2.0.4-RC1. Modified. While editing, OOo 2.0.4-RC1 crashed. 3) An infinite "recover file" loop followed. Loop canceled. The file was saved, reportedly following instruction from the recovery utility. 4) The saved file led to inifinite crash/recovery loop in OOo 2.0.4-rc1. 5) The same file as point 4 is opened and edited with no warnings by OOo 2.0.3. 6) The file attached was modified and saved from OOo 2.0.3 with no warnings. Still, it crashes OOo 2.0.4-RC1. The crash in point 2 makes me believe that the file might be an invalid ODT file. Still, it has been opened in OOo 2.0.3, modified and saved with no warnings whatsoever and works perfectly in OOo 2.0.3. Please make sure this is a valid ODT file before confirming as high priority. I believe this might be a release stopper if confirmed.
