------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Sep 10 15:57:03 -0700 2006 ------- I have a fairly large spreadsheet in calc, and it's still growing. At least, it would be if I could get around this limit. This behavior is identical in 2.0.2 and 2.0.3: - Create a brand new, empty spreadsheet. - Select all rows (Ctrl-A), set Row Height = 5pi. (5 pica) - From the Drawing tool, create a graphic element. A rectangle works fine. - RightClick the new rectangle -> Position and Size dialog box. - Set Y position = 51000pi. - Scroll down to row 10188 (approx). Scroll up or down to find the rectangle, it should be pretty close by. - Right click the rectangle again -> Position and Size dialog box again. - What is the value of Y position? For me it is 50727.95pi. - Try again to set Y position = 51000pi. - For me, nothing happens. The rectangle stays exactly where it was, 50727.95pi. - Right click the rectangle again -> Position and Size dialog box again. - Click the "down" arrow on the Y position field, the Y position value counts down. Click the "up" arrow on the Y position field, the Y position value counts up. But it will not count past 50727.95pi. For me, it just stops counting at this value. - Drag the rectangle downward with the mouse. - Right click the rectangle again -> Position and Size dialog box again. - What is the value of Y position? For me it is 0.00pi. So: Using the Position and Size dialog box, it is impossible to move a graphic object to any Y position greater than 50727.95pi, either by entering a numeric value or using the "up" arrow. Using the mouse to manually drag a graphic object to any Y position greater than 50727.95pi results in a Y position value of 0.00pi in the Position and Size box. I desparately need a fix or a workaround. PS: Don't know if this is related at all: If every row height is 5pi, then Y position 50727.95pi ought to be near the middle of row 10145, *NOT* row 10188. This discrepancy was previously reported as Issue 38113. Graphic coordinates and cell coordinates just don't line up. But my main point with this issue is *not* the misalignment; this issue is about the limit for the position value of a graphic element. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
