I tried it and it works on Fedora Core 3, Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. For the "--with-system-libwpd", one has to rebuild the SRPM or download packages from http://libwpd.sourceforge.net/download.html On request, I can produce debs.
