------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 21 00:47:59 -0700 2006 ------- okay, here comes the stripped version: - open any text document, or the Basic IDE (we seem to need a document with cursor for this?) - open the attached i69239.odb - open the form therein by double-clicking it - focus an arbitrary cell in the grid control (which is in a sub form) => note in the form toolbar, there is a mention of "Record <number> of 5" That's important, because it indicates that the toolbar currently refers to the sub form, having 5 records, being on some record <number> - with Alt-Tab, switch to the Writer document - with Alt-Tab, switch back to the form => note in the form toolbar, there is a mention of "Record 1 of 3" It indicates that now, the toolbar refers to the master form, being on the firs of 3 records. The bad thing here is that visually, it still appears that the cell in the grid control is focused. That is, the user assumes that all toolbar actions apply to the grid control's (sub) form - which they do not do. Instead, if the user now attempts to delete the current sub form record, by using the "Delete" button in the toolbar, then the main form record is deleted. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
