This is NOT with importing of RTF/DOC -documents.
Importing of RTF/DOC -documents and problems with page counts are for example
issues 45789, 58348 and 45782.

This issue is about EXPORTING from OO as in RTF format.

The test.

1. Open document "_ODT_MALLI_YRITYS_ODT.odt" in OO.
- you can see that on the upper right corner there is page number and page
count
fields, 1 (2).
2. Save the document as "RTF-formatted.rtf"
3. Close the document "RTF-formatted.rtf" in OO.

4. Open the document "RTF-formatted.rtf" in Word 2002.
- you can see that on the upper right corner there is NOT page number
- the page count has changed to normal number and in the brackets there is an
extra space, ( 2)
5. Close the document "RTF-formatted.rtf" in Word 2002.

6. Open the document "RTF-formatted.rtf" in OO.
- page number is still a field
- page count has changed to normal number, and there is that extra space in the
brackets, ( 2)

This is due to OpenOffice.

To be precise what I used:
- OpenOffice 2.0.4 RC 2
- Word 2002 (10.6802.6735) SP 3 (English version)
- WIN XP Pro v. 2002 SP 2
