For example, load the attached document and then press END to go the end of the line, and then press backspace. It looks like it is doing nothing. Keep going as it actually is doing something. Eventually it will end up deleting the spaces visibly. Another thing to try: 1. Open a new document 2. Hold down the space bar and watch it insert a whole lot of spaces, but as soon as it wraps over the line, it goes to the beginning of the line, not to the next line.
