------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu Sep 28 20:46:08 -0700 2006 ------- Yes I can see that I was missing the next call so that things probably should have failed there as well, but the macro currently dies before getting to the if statement (and changing it to add the next call in there does not solve the problem). This seems instead to be an issue with the select call itself. One thing I notice I did not put in the original description was that the underlying database is an MDB file, so the problem could be in the MDB code as well.
