You'd expect a list all the file types which could potentialy be of the Text CSV type. Hence the confusion. But at least with the work around explained by Frank, tab is automatically selected as the default delimiter, so there is some kind of support for .tsv files (also if I rename the same file to .csv it selects comma by default, so it's not based on file content but file name).
