It is not possible to construct a query with a criteria similar to

SELECT ......
where datediff( 'dd', CURRENT_DATE, "aDateColumn" ) <= 30
AND "aDateColumn" > CURRENT_DATE

A select statement with this criteria is acceptable in SQL view with escape
pocessing turned on, but in designer view an error is issued that the data type
is incorrect for the datediff column.
