I created a file called test.odt, then changed the name to test∆∑.odt (that's delta and sigma, two mathematical characters, which I entered into a blank document in OOo using Insert | Special Character, then I copied them to the clipboard, shutdown OOo and pasted them into the filename). I could then open the file from OOo using the File | Open menu, but if OOo is not running, double-clicking on the document icon on my desktop launches the OOo startup splash screen, then the splash screen disappears and then nothing -- it appears OOo just silently terminates. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
