In Word, when in 2-page layout, page preview shows "left" pages on the left, and
"right" pages on the right.

So when viewing the first page in the doc in a 2-page layout, only one page is
shown. That page is on the right.

Scrolling down then causes the second page to be on the left, and the third page
to be on the right, and so on. This corresponds to turning over pages in a real 
doc.

When viewing docs in which the margins are different for left and right pages,
the attitude is important. It's easy to forget that OOo does not display in the
correct attitude.
