Note that custom background colours in WinXP are only visibile if the appeareance is set to "classic" (i.e. Win2K style). No problem up to OOo2.0.3, but starting from OOo2.0.4rc5 the buttons (and only the buttons) flicker on the screen when the dialog box is invoked. To reproduce you need to: 1. set the desktop appearance to "Windows Classic" 2. create in starBasic a macro with one commandButtons 3. change the background colour of this button 4. write the code that calls the dialog 5. call the dialog and observe the button.
