------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Oct 8 23:04:33 -0700 2006 ------- OpenOffice.org should support JIS[1] and ASC[2] functions. While Microsoft Excel has JIS and ASC functions, Calc doesn't. It degrades the compatibility with Microsoft Office. That is why OOo should support both two functions. I'll attach the reference code within Furigana Exetension I developed. You are welcomed to use that code for OOo because I've signed JCA. [1] JIS function: this funciton converts half-width alphabetical characters and Katakana within a character string into full-width characters. [2] ASC function: this function converts full-width alphabetical characters and Katakan within a character string into half-width characters. It reverses the result of JIS function. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
