I checked with "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" (also with
"1.1.4 (German) WIN XP: [645m52 (Build 8824)]" and can confirm the problems.
It seems that the is caused by the Microsoft Visio 11.0 objects in the document.
Both OOo version need several minutes to open the document (100% processor
load), the first one will be shown correctly in 2.0 and 1.1.4, for the second
one I only see a placeholder in 2.0 (it's shown correctly in 1.1.4).
Even after I deleted the visible drawings in WORD2000, the load problem remains,
it seems that only a visible image will be deleted, but not the complete object:
When I open the modified document in OOo, I still see 2 OLE objects in the
navigator, but they are greyed out.
I can't decide whether the problem really is caused by the Visio objects.
