Result as expected is the progression 1, 2, 3, 4, etc. Type 1 in cell A2, highlight A1 and A2. (Both contain 1) Fill down - result as expected is 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, etc. Repeat using Sun instead of 1. Sun on its own fills as Sun, Mon, Tue, etc. as expected. Highlight A1 and A2, both containing Sun.
