It's about minamally-required/expected functionality. Fussy point, I know, but I hate to see oo be just a clone, when it could be so much more. To that point, why just stick with the minimal functionality? There are some great ideas that have been discussed here. It would be a shame if they were lost. Of course, what code have I contributed? None, so I have a limited right to complain.
