The sample document, imported from MS Word, contains a few inserted objects. If
you attempt to move
some of these objects (either with the keyboard or with the mouse), the object
makes a small jump
towards the bottom of the page before settling in its final position.
This behaviour occurs specifically with objects that are anchored to a
paragraph of an imported Word
document. I have not seen it happen with objects anchored to the page, or with
similar objects in a
newly created Writer document.
