I've verified it with an 680m188_9077 and it works

Here is my workaround for you.
- Define the database to the document before you start mailmerge
- Menu Edit - Exchange Database...
- Click on Browse... button
- Select the ods database file
- expand the new available database
- Select 'Rechnerliste' and click to define
- Now got to Menu Insert - Fields - Other...
- Select Database tabpage
- Click on Mail merge fields at the left Type area
- Expand the 'Rechnerliste' and insert the fields into the document
- Now you can run through the mailmerge wizard without doing any changes.
Maybe you should remove the first empty line before
