------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mon Oct 23 02:57:39 -0700 2006 ------- According to an email from Mathias Bauer the NOTINCHOOSER flag should exclude the filter from the filter chooser dialog, i.e., "the awful dialog you get when OOo can't find a filter." See http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=18077 This flag does nothing. As long as the filter is flagged IMPORT, it will show up in the filter chooser dialog even if NOTINCHOOSER is specified. A global case-insensitive search through all source files shows there is no code that actually does something with the NOTINCHOOSER flag. Also, the filter chooser dialog can be forced to come up by (1) removing the filters oor:name="Text" and oor:name="Text (encoded)" from share\registry\modules\org\openoffice\TypeDetection\Filter\fcfg_writer_filters.xcu; (2) removing all filters from share\registry\modules\org\openoffice\TypeDetection\Filter\fcfg_web_filters.xcu; (3) running OOo and opening a file called "random.fil" containing random data. Setting NOTINCHOOSER for any one of the filters in the filter chooser dialog does nothing (conversely, removing the IMPORT flag does make the filter disappear, confirming that the correct entry is being edited). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
