According to 
documentation.openoffice.org/setup_guide2/2.x/en/SETUP_GUIDE_A4.pdf,

4. cd into the desktop-integration directory and executerpm -Uvh for the menu 
rpm that applies to your system. For example, on aRedHat-based system, you 
would userpm -Uvh openoffice.org-redhat-menus-<release>.noarch.rpm orsimilar.

so I typed
% tar xvfz OOo_2.0.4rc3_060927_LinuxIntel_install_ja_wJRE.tar.gz
...
% cd OOD680_m5_native_packed-1_ja.9073/RPMS/
% su
Password:
# rpm -Uvh --nodeps *rpm
...

# cd desktop-integration/
# rpm -Uvh openoffice.org-redhat-menus-2.0.4-2.noarch.rpm

...
