I have to add a lot of technical words to the dictionary, and because of other
bugs, when I add a word, I have to add in both upper and lower case to get it
recognize it in both capitalizations (Issue #56556). The edit dictionary tool
seems to be the only way to ensure that the capitalization is remembered for the
next session (Issue #70971). However, the only way to get to the edit dictionary
menu is to have a mis-spelled word and then run the full spell check interface.
If there are no mis-spelled words in the text, it's impossible to select the
"edit dictionaries" button. I can think of many use cases where entering a bunch
of words at once is more productive for someone than having to right click each
word individually as you mis-spell it.
