------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Oct 31 15:26:54 -0800 2006 ------- Text paragraphs in text box objects may have tab stops and fill styles set. When a tab fill is specified, the tab space is rendered with a white background color, no matter what color is specified for the text box area fill. Tab spaces with no fill are shown correctly, with no change in the area fill color. The same effect happens for colored objects which are behind the text box: the tab fill is rendered with a white background, obscuring any objects underneath. Steps to reproduce: 1) File > New > Drawing 2) Create a text box ("T" toolbar icon) 3) Enter text: A<tab>B<tab>C 4) Format > Paragraph 5) Create two tab stops (e.g. 2cm, 5cm) 6) Change the tab fill style for one tab to ".........." 7) Select the text box; change the area fill to color, default (anything but white) 8) See that the unfilled allows the area fill color to show, while the filled tab has white space where the fill characters are shown. This problem is evident in Writer text boxes as well. The problem occurs in at least OOo 2.0.2 and 2.0.4. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
