Summary: Closing an edited document does not always prompt Save dialog

Problem: While editing Word Processor documents, usually previously saved ones,
if you click on the close "X", OpenOffice will sometimes quit without prompting
a Save changes dialog.

1) Open a Word Processor document
2) Create a table (sometimes this helps to regress)
3) type in some values in the table
4) Click the "X" close box

Occurred: The document quits without saving changes.
Expected: The program should have asked the user if they wanted to save changes.

Remarks: This bug is maddingly intermittent. I have had to happen to me about
four times now over the course of several months. This problem seems to be
endemic, surviving between version changes. I have had this most often happen
for me while I was editing a document with multiple tables and colors.
This is a serious problem because DATA IS LOST. I'm sorry I could not give
you a reproducible case for this bug.

Possible FIX (suggestion): Perhaps a more general fix might be some redundant
code inserted that makes sure that once the user touches any key on the
keyboard, even if the document is not edited, the program will ask the user if
they want to save?
That way this elusive bug can be addressed. The surest way to drive away new
users is making them lose data.
