------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Nov 4 12:00:42 -0800 2006 ------- Hi, I've exprienced the same issue on 2.0.3 and 2.0.4, I'll add what additional information I can. Double clicking a ".xls" or ".ods" file on a network path (double slash) starts Open Office (just the splash screen) and then nothing! If I use the open file dialog (having opened Calc by some other means), browse to the network located file, then the file opens with out a problem. If I map the network drive to a local drive, then double clicking works just fine. The problem occurs whether the network file is on Win2K, XP or Server2003. The problem occurs whether the machine double clicking the file is Win2K or XP (sorry not installed open office on the company server!) Sorry I've not tried other files, to test whether this is a Calc problem or all programs. There is a similar problem saving the file. If I open the file using the open file dialog then I can't save the file and I can't "save as" to a network drive either. I get an error that the file path does exist, Sorry I've not grabbed the screens for this one yet, but when I find the correct "issue" I'll add what details I can. I'll do some more testing and get back to this issue.
