This strange effect can be seen in my own build m191 GNU/Linux SPARC as well as
Mac OS X.
Also the left hand side ruler can be seen moving, but the object coordinates on
the ruler are not changed. Although the offending object is only moved sideways
measured by the handles, when released it jumps down. if this is repeated it
only stops when it hits the physical page edge.
So it seems likely this is a "not windowws" windows filter issue rather than
Mac. I am reassigning back to mh for advice, where this should go next?
