2006 -------
A tutoree created a timeline in Microsoft Office Word 2003 (11.5604.5606) and,
the drawings looked fine in Word...but, when the tutoree attached and sent the
document to me, the document was not properly rendered/formatted.

It's hard to explain, so I've uploaded the images to a public image hosting
site to show the differences:

First, of MS Word 2003:

and then, OOo 2.0.4:

For kicks, I attempted to print the document from OpenOffice, and it printed
with the text cut-off, just as displayed in OOo. When I opened the document in
MS Word 2003, the document appeared as normal, and printed as normal.
