I'm using Pavel's m193 build on Debian GNU/Linux "unstable", KDE 3.5.5.
Run Writer, Insert -> Object -> Ole Object: OOo 2.1 Spreadsheet
Enter some text in A1 to A3 (i.e. aaa, bbb, ccc), then exit the embedded sheet
clicking outside.
Double click the sheet to re-edit, and click A1
On the top of the program window you have the edit field (with buttons for
formula, sigma, etc.). Click on the edit field where you have A1 content
displayed.
It shows briefly the X and V icon, then those icons become grayed and the
content disappears. If not, just click outside the sheet and repeat those steps,
this time clicking in A2.
I include a document where I was trying to change the "TOTALE" cell (C1)
