I have implemented the solution suggested by hro, and have used the patch
solution as a fallback.
mav->beppec56: As I understand, hro had meant the current directory when he had
used "CWS" term in his last comment, in other words he wanted to remember the
current directory before every call to GetXXXFileName and reset it afterwards.
