Changed a component from framework to gsl.

tora -> jeongkyu: OOo 2.1 for TCM test running on Solaris 10 seems to behave
in the same way as you describe.
Could you attach a text file $HOME/.openoffice.org2/user/psprint/pspfontcache ?
Which contains font names and font file names that your OOo has found.

export SAL_ENABLE_NATIVE_XFONTS=0
might help for reducing the number of duplications, which hdu has taught me.

I have been thinking similar things. It could be an enhancement.
The font list could lists a localized, native font name followed by a Western
font name sandwiched by parentheses as jeongkyu describes.

Additionally, the font list could be a little bit further enhanced. A main
menu would lists a name of language determined by Language ID in the 'name'
table of a font file, and a sub menu lists font names for the language.

  Western
  Chinese
  Japanese
Korean ---> 백묵 굴림 (Baekmuk Gulim)
              백묵 돋움 (Baekmuk Dotum)
              백묵 바탕 (Baekmuk Batang)
              백묵 헤드라인 (Baekmuk Headline)

A related issue 71732 might help you understand the phenomenon that you have
faced.
