cd->as: Please take over. Currently I cannot see how we would be able to
"remove" the asynchronous nature of our keyboard shortcut implementation (ctrl+q
=> application quit).
The keyboard shortcut implementation is not able to see which "command" will be
executed on a shortcut.
cd->cmc: I think your current patch is a bad hack. It will break user
configurations which want to map backspace to a different command. From my point
of view this looks more like a problem of the IME which generates a backspace
while typing. Why does the IME have to generate a backspace?
