------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Nov 24 06:48:13 -0800 2006 ------- Thank you very much for your efforts. I did as you suggested and found that the OOo box was not checked, I checked that box and am now able to delete items. However, when I look at my RECENT DOCUMENTS, I am still unable to find a method of deleting any of them off of the list. As to Linux, it is the wave of the future and will end Microsofts dominance, sooner rather than later. I suggest you go to Ubuntu.com and download or request free CD's, they always send 5 so that you can share. The Ubuntu operating system is elegant and can easily be loaded right beside Windows on your system, so that you can use either or both. It is completely free and there is a world of free software available, (such as OOo). The user interface is very similar to Windows. Learning more about my operating system has turned into a very interesting hobby for me. By the way, OOo is included in the base installation of Ubuntu's operating system.
