For instance, opening the data source browser also triggers the assertions - In each scenario I found so far, the problem occures exactly *once*. After this, you need to remove the user installation folder to reproduce it again. Sounds like there's a problem with the first update access to some configuration data, if the respective data does not yet exist in the user layer.
