2005 -------
- create a new database document, connecting to an arbitrary
  (even non-existent) ODBC data source
- Edit|Database|Advanced Settings
- tab page "Special Settings"
- uncheck the "Display version columns (if applicable)" checkbox
- dismiss the dialog with OK
- save the database document
- File|Exit, to exit OpenOffice.org
- re-start OpenOffice.org
- open the database document again
- Edit|Database|Advanced Settings
- tab page "Special Settings"
=> the "Display version columns (if applicable)" checkbox is checked, again
=> the setting just made was lost

happens in 680m80 and CWS dba24
