This is usability issue, not a bug, but very annoying drawback of OO.org

Try to create a table acting as chess board like this:
http://homepages.inf.ed.ac.uk/rbf/HIPR2/images/che1noi1.gif

Usually, you will start with creating the table, then clicking fields and
choosing background color. Why OO.org doesn't remember last chosen background
color?
Instead of doing:
1) click table field
2) click background color icon for the first time and choose color
3) click table field 2
4) click background color
etc.

You have to do:
1) click table field
2) click background color icon for the first time and choose color
3) click table field 2
4) click background color for the second time and choose color
etc.

Annoying.
