No last printed date appeared. I checked one series that I always write and print: Last printed date was absent. Since yesterday I have not updated any software on this machine; there have been no Windows updates I have not changed any options and yet something has changed. Printing an OOo document now puts the printed date and the user into the document properties. But there still are documents from before today with no last printed date. As most reports and letters we write are copies of earlier work edited it is difficult to establish the history of any older document. I have considered that some were initially originated by MSWord or based on templates with an MSWord origin. My tests today show that OOo reasonably shows no last printed date for a Word doc with a printed date prior to creation date but when printed again puts in the correct date. Using an old template which had produced docs with a null date today gives a last printed date. Just now I have taken the latest document from my regular series copied edited saved and printed it as I regularly do. The new document now has a last printed date. The previous 5 do not!
