On Windows Vista exist a new FileOpenDialog which works better in the new Vista environment. For the new FileOpenDialog exist a new IFileOpenDialog interface, which is part of the new platform SDK. Possibilities: The new FileOpenDialog opens also if we abandon on features like "ReadOnly" Flag or ask for Version and so on, in short we abandon on our extra FileOpenDialog enhancements. Then and only then the new FileOpenDialog will open on Windows Vista.
