(Details of fix below) 1) Yes - Bug was occurring with the download of OOo 2.1 from the official site. 2) Bug continued to occur upon full uninstall and reinstall. 3) Worked out that the cause of the bug must be in the locally stored OOo settings that were not being removed with the uninstall/reinstall. BUG FIX: Delete the following directory: Documents and Settings/username/Application Data/OpenOffice.org2 (Note 'Application Data' may be hidden under Windows XP defaults) After deletion the bug no longer occurs. The cause of the bug remains completely unkown, however.
