On my PC i have several data sources -- Ooo native db, mysql connected through base (jdbc), &c. When I get to the step during the merge where it asks me to indicate a data source I click on the button to select and it brings up a list of registered databases. When I mouse over and start to select a DB, it appears that the program is trying to establish a connection to all of the registered databases. I am prompted several times for the login info for various databases -- I made it a bit better by un-registering several databases, but it is still no an expected bahavior. 1. Connections with data sources should only be established if selected. 2. It would be helpful is the dialog text asking for the login information also telled you the DB name, when you are prompted 7 times in a row with no indication of which DB it wants info for it is not a good thing.
