This has been the case for some time now. I'm using: Mac OS X 10.3.8 X11 1.0 - XFree86 4.3.0 OOo 1.9.79, 1.1.2, 1.1.3(Neo) I don't know if others are able to get this, but if so maybe we should close this bug. Also having an external PDF converter isn't as important in OOo 2, due to large improvments in the converter.
