I'm not sure if it is a bigger problem than this but I noticed this a few times on spreadsheets where I am working with decimals. Follow the following steps. 1 Open new spreadsheet 2 In cell B2 type 148.5 3 In cell D2 type 148.4 4 In cell F2 type 0.1 5 In cell H2 type formula "=IF(F1=B1-D1;"";"WRONG")" The result of the formula tells us that the answer is incorrect - which is not true. Follow next step for potentially a further issue. 6 In cell F4 type formula "=B1-D1" Copy and paste (as number only) cell F4 into F2 which then gives the correct result but when you look at cell F4 by clicking into it the answer is "0.0999999999999943" - looks like there may be a formatting, rounding or accuracy error.
