------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Dec 30 23:03:13 -0800 2006 ------- 1. new a text document. 2. enable Asian lang support: In "Tools--> Options --> language settings --> languages", ensuring to check "Enabled for Asian languages". 3. enable text grid in "Format --> Pages --> Text grid" tab page by using the following values: (see the attachment) Grid type: Grid (lines only) Max. base text size: 15.6 pt Max. ruby text size: 0.1 pt Diplay grid: enabled. 4. Type Chinese which font name is "FZSongTi"(方正宋体) , font size is 12. You can see the Chinese text is layouted across two lines. The expected result is the Chinese text is layouted in one line.
